The Pousada do Sol in Buzios, Brazil is a paradisiacal place 180 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro.
Throughout the year, the Pousada works as a beach hotel (rooms are $60, double occupancy). Besides it offers a special program for Human Development groups and Transpersonal Psychology workshops.
The Pousada has 10 air-conditioned rooms (25 guests) which look over the ocean. All the rooms have refrigerators and TV sets and the Brazilian breakfast is included.

The historical roots of Buzios trace back to the colonial times and was rediscovered in the sixties by Brigitte Bardot, who was already interested in ecology and unexplored places. One summer she stayed at her Marcela's house on Rua das Pedras, which is known today as the Pousada do Sol.
Rua das Pedras has become a popular promenade with artists' ateliers, fancy boutiques, restaurants that cater excellent food and bars with musicians that play away at night.
